Air fryer recipes for cooking fish

Fun fact: fish cooks faster in the air fryer than in the oven or pan. That’s because, on average, fish is ready in the air fryer at 180°C within just 8–10 minutes. Best of all, you can cook fresh or frozen fish in the air fryer and still get the same fantastic results. Just remember to add 5–10 minutes of cooking time when preparing frozen fish in the air fryer. If you’re cooking fish fillets in the air fryer, it’s a good idea to use aluminium foil or baking paper so that the fish doesn’t fall apart so easily. However, if you want to prepare breaded fish such as fish fingers or fried fish in the air fryer, it’s better to place the fish directly in the basket. Now that you know the basics of how to cook fish in the air fryer, you can try making delicious dishes like this Air Fryer Salmon recipe. Air fryer recipes: Should I season before or after?

Just like when using the oven, you can season your air fryer recipes before or after cooking. That said, we generally recommend that you season dishes that go into the oven or the air fryer beforehand so that neutral foods such as potatoes, chicken or vegetables have a chance to take on the flavour of the spicesIt’s also worth bearing in mind that spices can only develop their aroma when exposed to heat – which is another reason why you should start seasoning beforehandWant a tip for your next air fryer recipe? If you’re looking to spice up your potatoes, then try our Chips Seasoning or Roast Potato Seasoning. Meanwhile, you can liven up all kinds of cuts of chicken with our Chicken Seasoning or Chicken Curry Seasoning.
