Our Pancake Spice is fantastic with all types of pancakes, pairing beautifully with sweet pancake toppings. But you could also sprinkle the pancake spice blend onto French toast or stir it into your morning porridge. It adds a delicious warmth to baked goods like cupcakes and cookies. You can even use it in savoury dishes – imagine a hint of Pancake Spice in your pumpkin soup. The possibilities are endless!
Using Pancake Spice is simple – just add it to your basic pancake batter! For typical pancake recipes, a teaspoon or two of the pancake spice blend will suffice. Mix it in well with the flour so the spices are evenly distributed, or stir it gently through the finished pancake batter. Alternatively, you can sprinkle a pinch over your pancake as it cooks or when you add your pancake toppings.
Our spice mixtures, toppings and seasonings are packaged so that they’re impermeable to light and air. That means they stay fresher for longer whilst retaining their intense flavour. However, it’s important to store the pots in a cool and dry place. You’ll find the best-before date printed on the bottom of the pot. Our Pancake Spice has a shelf life of 30 months from production, but we’re sure it won’t take that long before you need your next one!
