    fresh gnocchi
  • 350 g
    minced beef
  • 1 tbsp
    tomato puree
  • 1 tin
    chopped tomatoes (400 g)
  • 200 ml
    water
  • 100 g
    grated mozzarella
  • 1 bunch
    basil

Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic.

Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in an oven-proof pan and fry the gnocchi for 4 minutes over a medium heat. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Preheat the oven to 200°C or for fan ovens 180°C.

Heat another tablespoon of olive oil in the same pan and fry the ground beef for five minutes over a high heat. Add the onions and garlic and fry for another 2 minutes.

Add the tomato puree and cook for another minute.

Add the chopped tomatoes, pour in 200ml of water and bring to the boil. Add the Bolognese Seasoning, the gnocchi and stir.

Layer mozzarella over the gnocchi and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Wash and dry the basil. Remove the gratinated gnocchi from the oven and garnish with basil.
