Spread the slices of bread with butter.

Finely chop the gherkins and sprinkle over the bread. Season each sandwich with 2 pinches of Sandwich Seasoning.

Add cheddar to 4 of the slices of bread and cover with the other slices.

Heat a griddle and cook the sandwiches for four minutes on each side over a gentle heat until golden and crispy.
