Using a food processor, whizz together the ripe avocado (peeled and pitted), cocoa powder, Coffee Kiss, maple syrup, coconut milk and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.

Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or chocolate flavour if necessary. If the mousse is too thick, add a spoonful more coconut milk to achieve the desired consistency.

Once the avocado chocolate mousse is smooth and creamy, divide it into serving glasses or bowls.

Chill the avocado chocolate mousse in the fridge for at least 1 hour to allow the flavours to combine, and then serve chilled.


Tip: Garnish with raspberries and mint leaves.

Avocado chocolate mousse – egg-free and dairy-free
