    beef (e.g. beef fillet, rump steak or rump steak), cut into thin strips
  • 2 tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp
    teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 2 cloves
    garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    fresh ginger, grated
  • 2
    peppers (different colours), cut into strips
  • 1
    onion, cut into thin strips
  • 2
    carrots, cut into thin strips
  • 200 g
    broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 150 g
    mushrooms, sliced
  • 3
    spring onions, cut into rings
  • For the sauce:

  • 4 tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp
    hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp
    oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 120 ml
    chicken stock

In a bowl, marinate the beef with soy sauce, teriyaki sauce and brown sugar for about 15 minutes.

In a large frying pan or wok, heat the sesame oil over a high heat. Add the beef and fry for 2–3 minutes until they have taken on some colour. Remove the meat from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, fry the chopped garlic and ginger until fragrant. Then add the peppers, onions, carrots, broccoli and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until the vegetables soften a little but are still firm to the bite.

For the sauce, mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl. Return the beef to the pan and pour over the prepared sauce. Stir well to coat the meat and vegetables with the sauce. Cook over a medium heat for a further 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Add the spring onions and stir briefly. Season the beef stir-fry with the Chinese Allrounder.


Tip: Serve with rice or udon noodles.
